Swing Out New Hampshire

Description

Swing Out New Hampshire is an annual swing dance event which my dance partner and I had taught at a couple times. We love the event for its focus on community, wilderness setting, and great live music. Mike hired me to create a t-shirt for their 20th Anniversary and wanted the camp, Camp Wicosuta, to be depicted in some way. I’d recently been to a Magritte exhibit at SF MoMA a couple of times and was particularly inspired by his work when I got going on this project. I also wanted to tap into some Japanese print inspiration I’d been geeking out on at the time.
